The Entrepreneurship Development Center (EDC) is an important part of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. TOPAX : Team Orissa Project Advisory Centre at XIMB

XIMB has signed an MOU with Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Orissa (IPICOL) for the establishment of "Team Orissa Project Advisory Centre at XIMB" (TOPAX). This is a project development center at XIMB. The center aims to meet project specific needs of investors like identification of business opportunities, sector studies, consultancy, research and company profiling. The center also plans to offer customized services to investors for facilitating investments.

The MOU was signed by Mr. Ashok Meena, Managing Director, IPICOL and Fr. P.T.Joseph, Director, XIMB, in the presence of Shri Biswabhushan Harichandan, Minister, Industry, Rural Development and Law, Government of Orissa, Shri Chinmay Basu, Principal Secretary, Industries, Government of Orissa, Shri Ashok Dalwai, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Steel & Mines, Government of Orissa, the Director, Industries, Government of Orissa, Mr. Alejandro Vera, Advisor, UNIDO and the representative, DFID, India.
